EXTRAJUDICIAL KILLING IN THE PHILIPPINES

EXTRAJUDICIAL KILLING

Killing without the approval of the law. Philippine National Police Chief Ronald Dela Rosa was bombard with question during the senate meeting about "War on Drugs" under the Duterte administration.

"Failure of the government to address this situation currently prevailing of unexplained extrajudicial killings and providing remedies in terms of prosecution of perpetrators could result in the possibility of the ICC exercising jurisdiction over those matters if you fail to do so," Human Rights Commissioner Chito Gascon.

Dela Rosa is still investigating about the issue. He said that if ever some Police is connected or have failed to obey the law will be "investigated, persecuted, and accordingly punished.". There are some people  who were killed by the vigilante's were found innocent, they don't deserve those kind of treatment.

Those people who were killed have families and some of them were innocent. Now, a lot of people are seeking for justice and are fighting against extrajudicial killing.

  2. Nice work! You did really express your thought regarding this topic. I am with you. No one deserves to be killed. I just hope justice will win and prevail at the end. As the song goes, " there's a rainbow always after the rain."

  4. I disagree of some of your points but your perspective really says the feeling of what families of the victims must have felt. I regret to ask this but how about those people who are difficult to control already? what if their families are already aware of the situation from one of them? What if they caused ravaging damage to society? These questions are asked however these are important parts of the whole context of this issue.

  6. I agree with you too even though the policemen are tasked to do the killings they must have proofs or they must have evidences to that certain person if he/she had taken drugs , in order for them not to kill a innocent person.
